Happy Hatchday, Gracie and Bessie! Is there a better way to celebrate than with a corn cupcake topped with mashed avocado and an earthworm?!? Well maybe not for you, but for the rest of us, there is! How about an eBook full of your stories?!?

“Seasons Of Friendship” is now available as an eBook through Barnes & Noble!

Visit the “Seasons Of Friendship” eBook page on the Barnes & Noble website.

My Life With Gracie taught me there is never a season when we don’t need friendship.

    1. Thank you so much! I bought a copy myself to make sure that it was as good as the original for how it displayed on the screen, particularly for the illustrations. I really couldn’t tell a difference, so that made me happy!

If there’s anything you think I could do differently or better next time, please let me know. I trust your literary judgement.

It was not an easy book to put into a category. It is not necessarily for children, even though the reading level on most chapters is in the 5th to 6th grade range. It is not necessarily for adults either. Maybe it’s for anyone who loves chickens! It’s not really a novel, just a collection of stories that are generally sequential and support a bigger story and theme. It even reminds me of Aesop’s Fables in some respects because of the way each chapter ends with “chicken wisdom.”

Anyway, we all hope you will enjoy reading. Find a nice spot outside and imagine Gracie sitting in your lap with all of the others snuggled against you. They love being read to.

      1. What a wonderful accomplishment! I’m still waiting for the order to ship even though it is an eBook. I’m looking forward to when it arrives though! The girls are invited to sit on my lap anytime! I’ll be sure to have some fat juicy earthworms ready for them. LOL

      2. Hmm…mine showed up almost right away in my iPad’s Nook app. It’s also viewable on the internet when I signed in to nook.barnesandnoble.com.

For me online it showed on the first screen after I logged in. Another way is to select from he menu in the upper left. It should show “MyNOOK.” Selecting that will take you “My Library” of books too.

I’m wondering if I need to add some directions…may need to consider that! (This was the first eBook I ever ordered from Barnes & Noble. I have been buying books through iBooks instead.)

      3. First time for both of us. I’ve never used an eBook before! I just checked using your instructions and I found the book! Yayy! I know what I’ll be doing this evening after work… cuddling with my two little dogs and reading about your beautiful girls. 🙂

      4. I’m thrilled! I will definitely add directions/suggestions then. I thought I was the only person left who treasured printed books! (Which is what I’m working on next!)

      5. I love the smell and texture of traditional books and the way they sound when turning the pages. If you publish a paper book, count me in! I’d love to add it to my library. 🙂
